This year, the highlight of this Mozart weekend in Sankt Goar is the performance of Mozart’s last work:
Requiem in D minor, KV 626
On Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 5 p.m., in the Evangelical Cathedral of St. Goar, in addition to the choir Coro con Spirito from Cologne and the Bergisch Gladbach Symphony Orchestra, the Kirchberg soprano Caroline Monteith, the Finnish singer Tiina Lönnmark, alto, tenor Philipp Nicklaus and Falko Hönisch, bass, will perform.

This milestone in musical literature remained incomplete by Mozart and was completed by his pupil Franz Xaver Süßmayr.
The overall management is in the hands of conductor Roman Salyutov, who also impressively conducted the concerts last year during the Brahms Year.
