Discover the heart of the former largest fortress on the Rhine and walk through the footsteps of history in an impressive setting. Here you could find everything from a brewery to residential buildings, a dungeon and a pharmacy. One of the largest historical free-standing vaults in Europe still hosts festivals and cultural events to this day.
Suitable shoes are recommended for some of the less-accessible areas. Flashlight (e.g., via mobile phone) is also recommended for guided tours.
